3 The sculptures, gathered for the first time in this exhibition, perhaps from the same workshop in Rome, date back to the second half of the 1st century B.C. They have in common the iconographic apparatus: the figure advances towards those who watch with outstretched hands (the attributes are lost), perhaps to hold bow and arrows, symbols of the goddess hunter, or bow and torch to recall the double investiture, being Diana also lunar divinity.
